Salt Hill Pub, Galway Room (Lunch & Supper; informal music Sessions) - 2 West Park Street **Noon- 6:45 pm**
Upper Valley Music Center (UVMC) - 8 South Park Street **Harp Workshops & Harpers' Haven, 1-4:30 pm**
** Unload Harps at UVMC, then park in public parking spaces indicated (see link below for Downtown Lebanon parking).
First Congregational Church (FCC) - 10 South Park Street **1:30-4:30 pm Carolan Festival afternoon Sessions & Workshop; 7 pm Concert **
** Unload other Instruments, music stands, etc. at the church if needed; then park in public parking spaces indicated (see link below for Downtown Lebanon parking).

1:30 PM Overview of Carolan's Life by Art Edelstein, Vermont Author of "Fair Melodies" the only Biography of Turlough Carolan since Donal O'Sullivan. Copies of "Fair Melodies" (including 21 track CD) will be available for purchase all day!
1:45 PM Open Session with John Mallery, Bob Paul, etc. - Carolan Tunes:
"Carolan Standards" (easier tunes, slower tempo): Sheebeg & Sheemore, Fanny Power, Blind Mary, Col. John Irwin (59), Captain O'Kane, Eleanor Plunkett (click for "Standards" sheet music) & "Carolan Favorites" Session (moderately difficult): Carolan's Draught, Carolan's Concerto, Geo. Brabazon 2nd Air, Bridget Cruise 3rd Air, Lord Inchiquin, Morgan Magan, Mrs. Maxwell 1st Air (click for "Favorites" sheet music)
2:45-4:30 PM Open Session continues with Festival Musicians- Carolan Tunes:
Take turns requesting tunes from the Carolan Festival Tune Book (or from O'Sullivan or Rowsome).
FCC Green Room (adjacent to Parish Hall):
2:00-3:00 PM Tune Workshop - Slow/fast Carolan Tune Set (with a good transition!)
3:00-3:30 PM SLOW Session - Carolan Tunes (This is scheduled concurrently with the Session in the UVMC Main Tent in order to provide a more comfortable space for those wanting/needing to play at a slower tempo.)
FCC Sanctuary:
6:00-6:30 PM Rehearsal for EVERYONE who will be playing "Carolan's Welcome" to open the Evening Concert. Dominique Dodge and Rachel Clemente will organize all participants, play through the tune and practice an orderly exit from the stage. ** Plan to finish your Supper before this. **
